Why doesn't tapping more often give me more time?

Because it would be meaningless if it did. A check-in credits the time since your last one, capped at your interval — so an hourly item earns at most an hour per tap no matter how many times you tap. Every tap is still counted, though, and the app's response warms up as the count climbs.

I missed a check-in. Did I lose everything?

No. The item stays on your list and your total sustained time is never reduced. A late check-in credits one interval, records the overshoot as missed time, and resets the current streak — your longest streak and your lifetime total are both kept.

Why is the button making that face at me?

It tracks how far past due you are, in multiples of your own interval: 👍🏻 while you're on time, 🙏🏻 up to twice the interval, 🫵🏻 up to four times, and 🤦🏻‍♀️ beyond that.

How do I get something off my list?

Tap the ⓘ on the row, then Delete Item. It leaves the list immediately. Its history stays in the database so your long-term statistics don't develop holes.

I'm not getting notifications

Check Settings → Notifications → Just Not on your phone and make sure alerts are allowed. The app asks once on first launch; if you declined then, this is where you change it. Notifications are batched — one message covers everything you've let slide, and the same item won't be mentioned again for six hours or until you check in.

Can I use it on two devices?

Not yet. Identity is tied to a single phone, so a second device starts with an empty list.
